After one week of working on my college magazine cover and contents page, this is what I managed to create. I used most of the skills I had been taught in the previous weeks on how to use Photoshop and Indesign.

Thank you for taking the time to look at my blog. I have made a music magazine for my coursework which I am very proud of. I spent a lot of time and effort on my work which I hope is reflected in the finished product.
My research and planning starts from the 8th September
My evaluation begins on the 24th February
My finished music magazine will appear directly under this text.

I like how you have used a picture as a background, it adds more excitement rather than just having a white background. I think that your contents page fits all of the codes and conventions of a magazine.
ReplyDeleteTo improve, I think that the masthead could have been bigger as some of the story titles are a similar size.
I like how you've used the 3 colour rule, it really makes the magazine more interesting. I like the masthead name as well, its really unique. I would improve by making both the pages more similar and making the masthead a little larger. But overall I think its really good and unique.
ReplyDeletei like the fonts that you have used on your front cover, and the colour scheme. i like how you have used the 3 colour rule in your fonts. Also i like how you have pictures on the content page relating to the stories on the opposite side.
ReplyDeleteI think you need to improve on the colour scheme for your content page because it doesn't really fit in with your font page.
